New Jersey represents all that is great about America, whether it is our
manufacturing and industrial capabilities, our scientific community, the
Jersey Shore, the mountains or our prestigious horse farms, New Jersey has
it all. By the same token, New Jersey's 12th Congressional District
represents the best New Jersey has to offer.I am honored to be running to represent the 12th Congressional District of New Jersey. For too long, New Jersey has led the way toward bigger and more inefficient government. Whether it is school funding inequities, affordable housing mandates, proposals for Universal Pre-school, Universal Healthcare and Paid Family Leave, New Jersey government programs affect our lives and pocketbooks to a greater extent than any other State in the Union. As a result, New Jersey residents have had enough. Now we see New Jersey's model of bigger government, bigger budgets and bigger debt being duplicated in Washington. Why are we repeating in Washington DC the policies and programs that we have seen bring New Jersey to the brink of economic disaster? Whether it was standing with Governor Corzine in supporting an 800% toll hike or working with Nancy Pelosi to further her agenda of government takeovers of the banking, insurance, automotive and healthcare industries, my opponent is out of touch with his constituents. He has ignored the needs of our District for too long. It is time the good, hardworking residents of the 12th District and New Jersey say "Enough" and change the way my opponent has been conducting our business while in Washington.
